Install on wooden wall:
Use a small size drill bit (7/64" or 3mm) to drill a shallow pilot hole and screw the wood hook directly into the wall without anchors.
Install on drywall:
Screw the self-drilling wall anchor into the drywall with a screwdriver or electric drill until it is flush with the wall, then attach the hook to the wall by screwing into the drywall anchor.
Install on solid walls (concrete walls):
Drill a pilot hole using a smaller size drill bit (1/8 inch or 4 mm) than the expansion anchor, tap the anchor into the wall with a hammer, and attach the hook to the wall by screwing in the anchor.
